Polyurethane as a product, is a solid material with a foam-like texture and an appearance between cork and expanded polystyrene ("isopor"). It is obstained from the chemical reaction, that appears almost instantaneously, between two liquid chemicals. One of the chemicals is a reaction activator (known as MDI) and the other is a chemical compound known as POLIOL. BASF's, Elastospray®, closed-cell system, provide very high technical performance characteristics, reducing to a minimum serious issues and allowing its simple and economic application in construction projects.
